Maximal Security Services is seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at a staff housing facility in Brooklyn, NY.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday. Shifts available: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
General duties include:
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the interior and exterior of the facility, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas
- Control access at entrances, verifying identification and credentials for residents, employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries
- Monitor CCTV camera systems and alarm panels, and report any suspicious activity or security concerns
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence and deter unauthorized activity
- Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with post orders, and notify supervision and, when necessary, emergency services
- Assist residents, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
Requirements:
- Valid New York State unarmed Security Guard license (guard card)
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while on patrol
- Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work the assigned shift, including overnight shifts if assigned
